Our company has several programs in place that ensure our team members are being recognized, and appreciation for that recognition shows through the longevity of their tenures, which we are proud to say are more than double the national average! Our recognition programs include rewarding an “Employee of the Month” with a bonus and a special reserved parking spot. Team members are also eligible for quarterly and end of the year bonuses, and these have been given out for 108 consecutive quarters.

In addition, we strive to create a culture of lifelong learning; professional development is encouraged and recognized, with bonuses given for those who achieve career milestones or earn certifications in their field. We offer this through company-paid training. We also aim to provide healthy work-life balance; in workgroups that allow, flex time and flexible schedules are also common ways to recognize hard work.

Our robust employee appreciation activities make us stand out as a fantastic place to work. Monthly activities like movie screenings, trivia lunches, family cookouts and volunteer opportunities are very popular. Team members also dedicate company-sponsored time to building homes for Habitat for Humanity, mentoring at local schools, serving food at Lazarus House, and organizing food and clothing drives through our WEI StepsUp program.

WEI has been Named HPE Partner of the Year for VAR Growth

We’re pleased to announce we have been awarded the 2016 HPE US Partner of the Year award for VAR percentage growth by (HPE). The HPE Partner of the Year 2016 awards recognize partners across all of their business groups, including the Enterprise Group, Software, HPE Financial Services and Alliances. A longtime collaborator with WEI, HPE honored 61 companies for their outstanding performance and accomplishments; the distinction showcases our commitment to our clients, customers and partners, all of which were integral to our continued growth and success throughout the years.

We’ve been a top-preforming HPE partner for more than 25 years. During this time, we have continuously delivered expertise and value to customers in the areas of convergence, hyperconvergence, software defined infrastructure and other emerging technologies designed to build stable and secure hybrid cloud environments. Collaborative Technology Solutions

In 2016, we were able to displace a competitive platform by designing, deploying and supporting a flexible “Production on Demand” solution for a national SaaS provider utilizing HPE converged technology solutions for hybrid cloud. This cloud solution is 100 percent redundant, has millions of simultaneous users and has never had a minute of downtime. We have also led the New England HPE VAR community for three years in both storage and servers, and grown our overall HPE revenue number by 70 percent. We’re pleased to say we are on target to exceed that number again this year.

This marks the fourth time WEI has won the award, and it solidifies our position among an elite group of minority-owned businesses in the New England area. The Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council

The GNEMSDC is a non-profit affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Since 1974, the organization has provided services to members and to certified minority business enterprises; WEI is a longtime member.
